God is not primarily interested in what is in your hand; He is interested in what is in your heart. You can give financially and still keep your heart distant from Him. You can attend church, serve in ministry, and support God's work, yet withhold your affection, obedience, and complete surrender. In 1 Samuel 16:7, we're reminded that while people look at outward appearances, God looks at the heart. He desires a genuine relationship with us—a heart that loves Him, trusts Him, and seeks to obey Him. Giving money may cost you something, but giving your heart means giving God your priorities, your desires, your decisions, and your whole life. Today, don't just ask, "Have I given to God?" Ask, "Have I given myself to God?" Because the greatest gift you can offer Him is not what's in your wallet—it's what's in your heart.
