If you want to embroider something as a gift but don't have much time for a large, elaborate design, this is a great option. While you don't have to use this specific pattern, embroidering a small motif and mounting it in a metal frame that doubles as a bookmark makes for a special, personalized gift. In this instance, I am embroidering miniature white magnolias onto organza fabric. Once the embroidery is finished, I secure the fabric to the fan-shaped frame by carefully stitching around the perimeter, making sure there are no unstitched gaps. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Si quieres bordar algo como un regalo, pero no tienes mucho tiempo para hacer un bordado demasiado elaborado y de gran tamaño, ésta es una buena opción. Aunque no tiene que ser este diseño en concreto, bordar algo pequeño y montarlo en un marco metálico que sirva de marcapáginas se convierte en un regalo personalizado y especial. En este caso yo estoy bordando unas magnolias blancas en miniatura sobre tela de organza.
