In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of self-organized local events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to generate profound discussions and connect the audience with the participants. These self-organized local events are called TEDx, where the x denotes that it is an independently organized TED event.
