TEDxPatagonia - Gunter Pauli

Gunter Pauli Trained as an economist, Gunter considers himself "an enzyme that facilitates change," convinced that everyone has the right to create a better world for present and future generations. Gunter began writing children's stories after having to explain to his children what he did for a living and why he was away from home. In his efforts to design a new paradigm and implement a new economic model capable of meeting the needs of everyone on Earth, he developed a series of learning tools that have been extensively tested in Brazil with 110,000 children and 6,000 teachers. Today, his learning systems are used in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and many other languages. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of self-organized local events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to generate in-depth discussions and connect the audience with the participants. These self-organized local events are called TEDx, where the x denotes that it is an independently organized TED event. TED provides general guidelines for the TEDx program, but each event is self-organized* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations). For more information, visit the TEDx website.
