Chicken Care - Keeping our Chickens Happy in a Regular Garden/Yard

In this video we share what we do to keep our chickens happy and healthy in a regular back garden/yard. We discuss the deep litter method, natural foraging, the food and water that we provide and how we prevent red mites and parasites. We also show what our breeds of chickens are and what colour egg they lay. We are a family of five, plus animals, living in the UK, trying to be as self-reliant as possible using the space we have (1/25th of an acre), after chronic illness leading to job loss halted our small holding dreams.
