Everything Went Wrong.
Every graduation should look effortless from the audience. Behind the scenes, it's anything but. We thought this would be a routine graduation setup. Our team was preparing six high school graduation ceremonies inside Clune Arena at the U.S. Air Force Academy. The plan was simple: integrate with the arena's installed sound system, build our video and livestream infrastructure, and get everything ready for a full week of ceremonies. Then we discovered major issues with the house PA. With little time to spare, we had to completely rethink the production and deploy our own Martin Audio line array system to provide coverage for nearly 5,000 people. What started as a standard setup quickly turned into a race against the clock. In this vlog you'll see: • How we expand the provided stage to create additional space for the ceremony • Our complete audio setup using an Allen & Heath Avantis • Why we use distributed audio, front fills, delays, and matrix routing • Our PTZ camera and livestream workflow • How we troubleshoot unexpected failures under pressure • The teamwork, problem solving, and long hours that make events like this happen Not every event goes according to plan, but that's part of live production. When things break, clients aren't looking for excuses. They're looking for a team that can adapt, solve problems, and deliver anyway. If you enjoy live event production, behind-the-scenes content, or seeing how professional productions come together, you'll enjoy this one. Questions about the audio system, console setup, video workflow, or why we made certain decisions? Leave them in the comments. We read every one. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoy seeing the real world of live event production, consider subscribing. We've got a lot more behind-the-scenes content coming. ___________________________________________________ [Eddy Sound] • https://www.eddysound.com/ • https://www.threads.net/@eddy.sound • / eddy.sound • / eddy.sound • / eddysound • / eddysound.co • / eddysound ___________________________________________________
