Surprising D2DCon with Zac Barnett (American Authors) – Behind the Booth Build for Cypher

What does it take to pull off a massive trade show booth in another state? In this vlog we take you behind the scenes with the Eddy Sound crew as we prepare for Door-to-Door Con in Salt Lake City, building a 20×50 booth for Cypher from the ground up. The journey starts in our warehouse as we pack the truck with everything needed for the show; truss, lighting, audio, and more than 100 LED video wall panels. From there, it’s a long drive across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah with the crew, fueled by plenty of caffeine, gas station snacks, and a few unexpected road trip moments along the way. Once we hit the convention center, the real work begins. Over the course of the build we assemble the truss structure, configure the LED wall, wire up the audio system, and bring the entire booth to life, complete with a floating DJ platform overlooking the show floor. The booth ends up hosting a special performance from Zac Barnett, the voice behind the hit song Best Day of My Life. Watching the booth go from a packed truck to a full live production space was a wild ride. This video is a look behind the curtain at what it actually takes to travel with a small crew and build a large-scale trade show booth on the road. It means long days, heavy gear, problem solving on the fly, and a lot of teamwork. Thanks for following along with the trip.
