EP 88 | Newcastle to Chathill | Northern Railway | Railway Services Challenge

Today, I did an interesting adventure on the very early 5.41am Newcastle to Chathill train by Northern. In Northumberland the journey traverses the East coast main line past Morpeth and alnmouth. Under wires all the way but this was on a diesel class 156 2 carriage unit Very empty on the way out but a few passengers on the way back. This service has only two a day. To be unique can be a service that uses unusual rolling stock or a class of service. A unique service can also be a duplicate if it is done by a different TOC or just that it is a stopping service. A service that uses the same stock, on same route but cut short is not unique. Basically, if a service is interesting it falls within my rules.
