Kernow Connect: The Bold Plan For A Second Mainline to Cornwall

In today's video, we're turning to the south west of the country, where in recent weeks, momentum has been building behind a bold plan known as 'Kernow Connect', which seeks to establish a secondary mainline between Devon and Cornwall. In this video, we'll take a look at the details of the proposed line, discussing where it might run, and the benefits of such a scheme, before trying to answer the question of whether this really could be the future for rail travel in the south west, or whether those behind the scheme might need a reality check. -------------------------------------------------------- If you're ever in the area, make sure to visit the Launceston Steam Railway, as well as the Bodmin Railway, both of whom were very kind and accommodating of me as I filmed this video.
