A recording of the lecture "The Union of Brothers" as a Prerequisite for the Rise of Moscow in the Second Half of the 14th Century: Vladimir the Brave and Dmitry Donskoy" The lecture is dedicated to one of the exhibition's subjects – Vladimir Andreevich Khorobrom (the Brave), Prince of Serpukhov and Borovsk, grandson of Ivan Kalita, and cousin of the Moscow prince. The relationship between the brothers became one of the most important aspects of the history of the Moscow principality during the Battle of Kulikovo. It was also documented – three treaty charters have survived in which Vladimir Andreevich is referred to as Dmitry's "younger brother." The first of these, dated between October 23, 1364 and January 18, 1366, was drawn up with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexy. At this time, the brothers were no more than 15 and 12 years old, respectively.
