What LURES works for me @ Thornton Gravel Ponds

City living with City fishing is a great recipe for after work R&R. This Particular Lake/Pond is near the South River Platte and within the city. The Ponds are stocked with trout, Perhaps this could be the best place for the young ones to start their passion for outdoor adventures. Besides earthworms, Artificial lures such as Panther Martin, Spoon and Power bait seems to work best. However, trouts in 3lbs or bigger still prowling the lake and if you have the right gear and bait you'll probably take one or two home for dinner.
