Leggy Tomatoes, Giant Luffas and a Watering Issue Resolved

Welcome to my channel and to a video that’s filled with all the little jobs needed to be done to get the polyutnnel FINALLY planted and productive for the summer season. There’s a good mix of crops in the polytunnel for summer and they’re all planted out in this episode. Plus…how did those over wintered carrots do in the polytunnel? The harvest reveal is in this video. I also install a relatively inexpensive irrigation system in our stack yard planted border (considering I had to be a kit for over 150ft). Does it work or is a cheap system too good to be true? Here’s the link to it, if you’re interested. I bought this with my own pennies. From the main gardens, the vegetable garden, snippets of farm life and the brand new cutting flower garden to attempt to sell bouquets this year, there’s a whole busy journey coming to The Farmyard Garden throughout 2026. To all who follow my channel, thank you for being here and thank you for creating this little community with me, a safe and inviting space. Join myself and Kerry ‪@dogontheplot‬ on Wednesday for the final episode in season 2 of our Podcast over on our joint channel, ‪@SowChatty‬ . Each week we feature regular segments and delve in to a main topic. We’d love it if you popped across and checked out some of our episodes and join the community there as well. We’ll be releasing summer specials in July and August but season 3 will return weekly from September. #gardening #flowergarden #vegetablegarden
