In episode 4 of the air brake three-wheeled vehicle construction project, we performed a crucial step: upgrading the wheel system for the 1-ton axle from 500-12 tires to 550-13 tires using rims from a Hyundai 1T25 axle. The entire process was done entirely by hand. The old wheel rims were sealed and the bolt heads welded in place, then measured and re-drilled to standard holes suitable for the 1-ton axle's drum. After many meticulous processing steps, the axle could now use larger wheels, increasing load capacity and improving operational stability. Next, the rear frame of the vehicle was completely refurbished. The old, rusted frame, no longer suitable for the new design, was remeasured, damaged parts were cut away, and welded together into a completely new structure.
