Five Lakes Centre (Fairmont, MN) - dead-ish mall

Five Lakes Centre has been listed as a dead mall in some groups, but on Halloween 2020 it was a happening place. Many shops were closed early for the holiday, but the former Sears was hopping with a Halloween party! If you ignore the abandoned JCPenney, the mall seems to be doing well overall. I think the dark ceilings with bright lights really improved the aesthetic. It doesn't scream "dead" like its original white light fixtures did. Do you like my work?
