SKINNY JEANS SHADOW BRINGS 4 FISH! SANDY & LUNA EACH GET 2 FISH 🐟 FOOD COMAS! Big Bear FOBBV 7.15.26

Hard working & amazing Shadow put on his skinny jeans since he was on a roll catching & delivering fish after fish for Sandy & Luna! Shadow caught 4 fish in just over an hour -Sandy got fish #1, Luna fish #2, Sandy fish #3 and Luna fish #4! Both kids ate really well and have full crops. Since Sandy finished her fish first, she retires to the back porch and feels a food coma coming on - eyelids are so sleepy! Then back to the front porch showing that full crop. Luna was also very happy to have two whole fish to eat! For those concerned about not seeing Jackie at the nest very often - no worries! Ground photographers have seen Jackie at the lake with Sandy & Luna, helping to feed them. Shadow was there as well! Remember that just because we don't see Sandy & Luna eating on the nest or in view of the cam does not mean they are not eating! In addition, a ground photographer saw a 2 - 2.5 year old immature eagle flying low over the shoreline. In the background was another young eagle - who turned out to be Sandy! It is exciting to know that both juvies are exploring further out around the lake now gaining more skill and experience. Thank you for watching!
