My Collings DS1 and DS2h Compared
At the request of Apple Turnover 519 and some others and communications from Steve ATX, I made this video for general consumption. My first Ds2h came to me new in 1999 when I as searching for a Martin D28-S or similar. The original 12 fret dreadnought suits my purposes ideally. The DS1 is sitka with mahogany back and sides and an "18" style trim. The DS2h is sitka with East Indian Rosewood Back and sides and a "28" (herringbone) style trim. Specs are as on the Collings website. Note: The bluechip pick used is a TAD 50 - i.e. 1.25 m/m and not ba RAD 40 as I said. Note: Any adverts added before, during, or after this video have been added without my support or permission.
