“Highway Star” (Missioned Souls) | As a Metal Musician… I Was NOT Ready for This

I had no idea what to expect going into this… but wow. Missioned Souls is a family/kids band from the Philippines and they’re covering Highway Star by Deep Purple… and they absolutely crushed it. The energy, the timing, the confidence — it’s honestly kind of insane to see at this age. As someone who comes from a metal background, this was just straight up fun to watch. You can tell they love what they’re doing, and it comes through in the performance. I’m definitely going down the Missioned Souls rabbit hole after this.
