BK Talks: Lessons: In conversation with Herman Hertzberger.

This edition of BK Talks, co-organised with Salomon Frausto, Head of Education at The Berlage, marks the the celebration of Herman Hertzbeger’s 90th birthday with a roundtable discussion celebrating Hertzberger’s legacy in conversation with Herman Hertzberger himself. It is accompanied by an exhibition featuring photographs of his workspace by renowned photographer Johnannes Schwartz. Simulatneously, the faculty has organised an exhibition in the Oostserre entitled 'The Hertzberger House Photographed by Johannes Schwartz for Het Nieuwe Instituut Collection’. The exhibition will be festively opened on 8 September at 17.30. Held every Thursday evening throughout the academic year, the Public Programs include the BK Talks and the Berlage Keynotes, as well exhibitions, workshops, seminars and colloquia. These events are aimed at connecting our faculty, students and scholars with the myriad disciplines and cultures that shape our world, with an eye towards cultivating public activities beyond the Delft Campus. The Public Programs build the Faculty’s relationships with allied institutions and the scholarly community at large.
