603 - Ah yes, the interesting school route! The route is operated by Metroline Travel using MCV Evoseti's from Holloway [HT] Garage. The route runs in both directions in the morning & afternoon from Swiss Cottage, South Hampstead, Hampstead, Highgate, East Finchley & Muswell Hill. The route is a nice, scenic one which was longer than I thought to be fair. I used to think to myself as to why the route was so popular among bus enthusiasts. But after travelling on this route, I can definitely say that this is the best school route and my favourite school bus route in London. The bus driver was really nice to me. She waited for me as I ran for this bus which I just made - Thanks to her. However, the front 2 seats on the top deck were taken, so I had to place my camera at the front. Thankfully the family at the front were cooperative and I sat on the seat behind them until Hampstead. I'm sorry that it was quite rainy, but at least the fog was not bad enough to the point that it would become unwatchable. Metroline had the route until January 2019, until Sullivan Buses from their South Mimms [SM] Garage had it up until January 2024. As always, I do wish that I filmed the route with them, alongside many other routes. The good thing about delaying this route was that 310 never existed and also TFL want to renumber the N271 to N263. So then I can have accurate route stop info.
