FRV. London Transit Route 23. Westbourne Park - Aldwych. Optare Metrodecker EV OME46023 (YJ21 EXE)

Todays video is an FRV on the route 23 from Westbourne Park to Aldwych. On the 29th April 2023, the route 23 was rerouted to Aldwych to replace the withdrawn section from the route 6. The 23 is change isn’t that bad tbh and it’s nice to see the route return to Aldwych. It’s crazy how much the route has changed within the past decade lmao. Anyways the route was pretty alright and but it was very long. The Ladbroke Grove traffic was soo annoying and boring and at the beginning of the route we had to reverse for another 23 to go past and that took long. And near Ladbroke Grove sainsburys we had to wait a few mins for the driver to change the blinds lmao. None of the OMEs were blinded for Aldwych so all the Aldwych buses were bandits lmao. I’m so glad we didn’t curtail since the service was a shambles lol. I do like the routing but I never knew it would be so long lol. The driver was pretty fast aswell but it’s a shame that so many people were getting on lol. By portobello market the bus was full loool. Anyways I hope you enjoy this visual and I’d rate the route an 8/10. I do recommend doing this route but not atm since there’s many works around Ladbroke Grove lol.
