Simple Drift Fishing With No Weight, Just Salted Pilchard on a Hook

Despite poor weather conditions, winter has finally arrived. I headed over to Laurieton to try some simple drift fishing down at the Marine Rescue boat ramp. This technique is very easy, just some salted pilchard on a hook and let the current do the rest. This is great for new anglers looking to catch a few and it didn't disappoint, even on a windy afternoon. This might be the best Bream session I have ever had for such a short period of time with good numbers and some decent sized fish. Enjoy!
