In this talk, Omar Pedrini, Brescia's most beloved rock poet, shares his tormented, resilient life and shows us how React is a value of active and creative resistance, a true guiding principle in life. Every moment of his biography, told here with sincerity, becomes a living testimony to how we constantly reinvent ourselves. Inspired by his giants, his life takes on the artistic form of a fusion of genres, a journey through words and music. Three lives: rocker and poet, but also actor, TV writer, and university professor. Omar Pedrini's career began in 1986 with Timoria. Formed in Brescia, the rock group achieved success in the mid-1990s with the albums "Viaggio senza Vento" and "2020 Speedball." In the new millennium, this was confirmed with his solo career and a fruitful experience as a writer (and presenter) for RAI, as well as a film and theater actor. The call to his third life, that of a university professor, came in 2005, when the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan asked him to teach in the Master's program in Musical Communication for Recording and the Media, as a professor of the Pop Song Composition and Production Workshop. Three lives—and a couple of open-heart surgeries—lived to the fullest by a truly resilient soul. Three lives: rocker and poet, but also actor and TV program writer and event organizer (such as the famous Brescia Music Art, a landmark event), not to mention his time as a university professor.
