THE SIGNIFICANT SITUATION IN THE LEARNING UNIT We propose some key aspects for formulating a meaningful situation, considering the context (real or simulated), the problem and/or potential we are posing in the meaningful situation, and the challenge we are presenting to the students, ensuring that these aspects are consistent with each other, the title, and the learning objectives. In the video, we reflect on some warnings and difficulties we encounter when proposing meaningful situations. It is important that the meaningful situation sparks students' interest and is meaningful to them; that is, that the students are the ones who give meaning to the learning process they will develop.
