DEIXAMOS A CIDADE Para Morar Num Sítio (Por que?)
A few years ago, we made a decision that completely changed the course of our lives. We left the city and went to build our life on a farm. This story began in 2009, when we bought three hectares of land near Rio Branco, in Acre. At the time, the place was just an abandoned pasture, without a house, without water, without electricity, and with difficult access for much of the year. Even so, it was there that we began to build our life in the countryside. Over eleven years, we transformed that land into a productive farm, where we produced a good part of our food and experimented with different ways of living with more autonomy and simplicity. In 2021, a new change happened. We left Acre and came to Alfredo Wagner, in Santa Catarina, where we began a new chapter of our life in the countryside. It is precisely this new phase that you can follow here on the channel. If you are also thinking about exchanging urban life for life in the countryside, here we show what really happens after that decision is made.
