Guerras de la tribu huaorani sin contacto
In the second episode of our Amazon expedition, Dmytro and Oleksandr, along with local guides, traveled through the impenetrable tributaries of the Amazon rainforest to the most remote village of the Waorani indigenous tribes: Bameno. The team's route takes them through the territory of the uncontacted tribes, where any stop—even for a few minutes—can lead to death. Finding the uncontacted tribes of Ecuador is the cherished dream of many explorers around the world, but getting close to them is nearly impossible, as they kill anyone who sets foot on their lands without warning. The brutal tradition of blood feuds was thought to be over until 2013, when a full-blown civil war broke out between clans in the Ecuadorian jungle. Waorani elders, in contact with the civilized world, massacred an entire uncontacted village. Dozens died. He, along with Ukrainian filmmaker Oleksandr Dmytriev, travels to countries rarely visited by tourists. They manage to go to places where no human has ever set foot. Dmytro himself creates the route, learns the characteristics of the new place in advance, and tries to survive on his own in the practically primitive conditions. But he tries to get used to the role of the natives, not as a mere outsider but as part of the team, actively trying out new trades and ways of obtaining food, learning local traditions and laws. Dmytro and Oleksandr have visited more than 20 countries, and these were certainly not passing trips, but rather exhaustive cultural studies. #Ecuador #worldinsideout #Huaorani
