Crystal hunting in California's Kingston Mountains | Rockhounding Near Las Vegas

This spot is barely on the California side of the CA/NV border in the rough vicinity between LA and Las Vegas. Update from 2026: I believe what I was finding was hematite-coated quartz clusters, rather than citrine on the yellow/orange/brown pieces. I found this spot from a cool video that ‪@solomonsoutdooradventures‬ made.
