RARE BOOK MOMENT 2.0 -- No. 1: The vocabulary of book collecting

One of the most important aspects of any specialized endeavor is the vocabulary used by its enthusiasts. This is particularly true in rare book collecting and related areas. In this first episode of Rare Book Moment 2.0, Michael Slicker discusses some of the important terms to know and what they mean. He also recommends that collectors acquire a copy of ABC For Book Collectors by John Carter & Nicolas Barker. Rare book appraiser Michael Slicker began Rare Book Moment in 2011 as a way to share his knowledge of rare books with collectors around the world and help them expand their collections.
