We wanted to let our YouTube audience step behind the curtain at Moon’s Rare Books for a one-of-a-kind Backroom Show & Tell—featuring rare artifacts, untold stories, and legendary first editions. We do these private showings relatively often. But this time, special guest and UK rare book expert Tom Ayling joins Reid Moon for an unscripted, interactive deep dive into six centuries of world history through rare books, manuscripts, and artifacts for a lucky audience. This was a real paid Backroom Experience filmed live—with audience questions, unrehearsed banter, and stories you won’t find in any museum. We like to call Moon's Rare Books a museum disguised as a bookstore, but one where history comes to life through storytelling and connection. All proceeds from the Backroom Experience benefit Generations Humanitarian, which feeds over 1,200 children every day.
