Armida Barelli, la santità delle imprese impossibili
Armida Barelli was born on December 1, 1882, to a middle-class family in Milan and attended a Swiss boarding school. Upon returning to Milan, she devoted herself to abandoned and poor children, collaborating with Rita Tonoli, who later founded an institute dedicated to caring for such children and who introduced her to Father Agostino Gemelli, a recently converted priest. Her meeting with the friar marked the beginning of a lifelong collaboration: Catholic Action, the Secular Institute of the Missionaries of Royalty, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, and the Work of the Royalty of Our Lord Jesus Christ. _________________________________________________________ ➨ Direct link to the special: https://www.chiesadimilano.it/barelli _________________________________________________________ Follow ChiesadiMilano at: https://www.chiesadimilano.it/ ➤ Facebook: / chiesadimilano.it ➤ Instagram: / chiesadimilano ➤ Twitter: / chiesadimilano
