Bye Ireland. Bye Parkrun. Vandeleur Parkrun - my last for a while #slowrunner #marathontraining

Ireland has completely won me over. This week included another fall during marathon training, another beautiful trail run, and one final official parkrun before the next stage of the European adventure begins. Vandeleur parkrun looked gentle on paper, but the constant climb, humidity and warm conditions made it far tougher than expected. Somehow I still managed one of my quicker recent times. Next week everything changes. I'll be crossing to Spain by ferry, attempting a "not parkrun" on deck, and then beginning a stretch of countries without any official parkruns at all.
