It's a big job, and as we are using the traditional methods and materials, it's a bit, well.. painful! Mixing the hot lime, or quick lime can be dangerous and time consuming so we find quicker way. But, with all this effort are our optimism is strong, but perhaps the reality.. not so much. Restoring a traditional stone cottage and pointing with lime is a process that's for sure, especially when it's DIY!
