Over the past 18 months, we’ve taken on the challenge of a lifetime—transforming a derelict farmhouse and overgrown land into a home, completely by ourselves. With no prior experience, just determination and a willingness to learn, we tackled everything from demolition to rebuilding, from laying foundations to putting on a brand-new roof, and from constructing walls to adding the final finishing touches.
