Mount Royal Tunnel - Montreal's Electric Empire (CANADA DAY SPECIAL)

Montreal is Quebec's capital, with many sources of transportation for getting around. Amongst these, one is a rail line to Deux-Montagnes that had a long electrifying history, and once was home to rail equipment that lasted over 70 YEARS in revenue service. From the Red and black CN boxcabs to the Silver multiple units, to the alienating green light-rail thingies, this video will look into the history of the route through the Mount Royal Tunnel thats been active for 108 years!! Happy Canada Day! this is another collab with ‪@GamingRailfanner‬ and ‪@TheWinnipegRailfan‬ to talk about Canuck choo-choo trains for this day. This video has been in production since early May, and I like how this turned out from a production perspective, as i've wanted to do more exclusive B-roll footage with Rolling line, but the mix of archive footage does help honestly. I might consider soon branch out to talking about more Canadian rail topics to reflect my homage in the Poutine-country (doesn't mean the usual topics will be disregarded), but we'll see. Anyways, hope y'all enjoy this nearly 25 minute Canada Day special! and see you all in the 4th of July video, which is around 80% done at the time of upload.
