The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II remains one of the most famous aircraft ever built. But what if... it never existed? Using the requirements of the A-X program (the one that gave birth to the A-10), we will try to design our own competitor to the vehicle, and then compare and contrast how each performs.
