Behind the Scenes at America's Biggest Van Life Festival (Peace Love & Vans Colorado 2026)

Ep. 436 - Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at what it's really like to attend a van life gathering—from the perspective of full-time travelers and content creators. We traveled to Peace Love & Vans in Rye, Colorado—the first Colorado edition of the country's largest van life festival. When people hear about van life gatherings like this they usually imagine hundreds of camper vans, vendors selling the latest gear, live music, and workshops related to this lifestyle. And yes… all of that is here. But after attending gatherings like this for several years, that's not why we keep coming back. The real reason is the people. Some of our closest friends today are people we first met because of van life, primarily at a gathering like this. Every gathering feels a little like a family reunion—with familiar faces, new friendships, and countless stories shared around campfires or in circles beside our tiny homes on wheels. In addition to showing you all the things happening at Peace Love & Vans, we especially wanted to share what it FEELS like to be here. This weekend isn't just about vans—it's about reconnecting with friends we've met on the road, catching up with fellow creators, meeting subscribers in person, and the many special moments when we get to park the van and enjoy a weekend with hundreds of other travelers!
