Car Camera - Lincoln, NE - Hollywood/Culler Heights to Pinecrest . 2013 ( ネブラスカ州リンカーン市 )

Today on our little drive, we go from the Hollywood/Culler (or the name vice-versa) Heights neighborhood of Lincoln, Nebraska, U.S.A. to basically the Interstate 80 overpass on N. 14th Street. Northeast Lincoln is almost like a small town of it's own. Three former small towns in this area - Bethany, Uni Place and Havelock, nearly grew together before Lincoln swallowed them up. Yet to this day, these town ares remain true to themselves. So starting out, we almost go through all three! Driving on N. 56th takes us just west of Bethany & Havelock and East of Uni Place. You can still see the small town characteristics while driving along - square blocks, ranch houses with the occasional farm house here and there. We also drive along the west border of Nebraska Wesleyan University - it will be on the left with the football stadium and some dorms. Further north, we go through a brief industrial area, through what is almost countryside, then new development that is talking place or is still is waiting to do something. We also drive by North Star High School. A big shout out to the Lincoln Police car watching for speeders on the left at 8:51! Sorry for the slight camera quirks on N. 56th St. and Fremont (also green-frames - software bug). Anyways, please enjoy the ride and thank you for watching! Timeline: 00:16 - Westbound on Vine Street 00:26 - Northbound on N. 56th Street. 00:40 - Lincoln Lutheran Elementary, Middle and High School is on the right. 1:17 - Holderge Street intersection. Dead Man's Run passes underneath this intersection. 2:41 - Nebraska Wesleyan University can be seen beginning on the left. 4:23 - Westbound on Fremont Street. 5:25 - Northbound on N. 48th Street. 5:43 - The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway passes overhead. This underpass was constructed somewhere in the 1930s and is frequent to flooding. 6:03 - Cornhusker Highway (U.S. Hwy. 6) intersection. 7:02 - Westbound on Superior Street. 7:49 - Salt Creek bridge. 8:28 - Northbound on N. 33rd Street. 9:36 - Lincoln North Star High School can be seen on the left. 10:05 - N. 33rd Street ends, Fletcher Avenue begins (westbound). 13:17 - Northbound on N. 14th Street. 13:27 - Interstate 80 overpass.
