#11 - Bought World's Most expensive Crab - Patagonia, Argentina

KING CRAB IS 100$ ATT A RESTAURANT AND HOW DID WE GET IT? Entering tthe Beagle Channel at night we stayed at Isla Picton overnight on the Chilian side. And on our way to the next stop Estancia Harberton we encountered fisherman. Tried to ask them if they had some fish but soon realised they have something more valuable than that - the king crab, aka Centolla here. We were screeming and trying to buy some but they were so kind to obviously offer us a present. Dropping our anchor at Estancia Harberton we had the greatest ever crab party on board. Estancia Harberton is the first settlement of the white man at Tierra del Fuego, a 20 hectare farm run by the 5th generattion. However, the fact that they did not allow us to walk on the land made us a little bit uncomfortable and the next bay we hopped to Bahia Relegada. Jumping from bay to bay we ended up at Puerto Almanza, a place full of restaurants selling king crab and sea food. We went out to celebrate another success, entry to Beagle Channel. It was obvious from the menu that we had a life time experience thanks to the fisherman. And finally rreached Ushuaia, our last stop in Argentina.
