ARROSTILAND 2026 … “OGGI ESSERE ABRUZZESI È PIÙ BELLO”

The 2026 edition of Arrostiland, held in Mosciano Sant'Angelo, was a resounding success, attracting approximately 25,000 people. This was a significant achievement for the area, confirming the event's status as a key event for the community. The event also posed a significant organizational challenge, but one that was successfully overcome. The organization worked flawlessly, as did the security system: volunteers and law enforcement ensured safety and the smooth running of the event, while a State Police helicopter monitored the situation from above until the event's conclusion. A particularly moving moment was the one dedicated to the memory of the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake: a collective chant rose in the square, with thousands of people united in a moment of shared remembrance. Institutional participation was also significant, with representatives from various towns, including Teramo, in attendance, testifying to the growing importance of the initiative. Interviews with organizers and participants convey the atmosphere experienced during the event more clearly than any words could. And the organizers themselves have made a controversial statement: 2026 could be the last edition of Arrostiland. This is a hypothesis that, however, few in the audience seem ready to believe. Not even Mosciano's deputy mayor, Mirko Rossi, believes it.
