Seglingen började inte så bra på väg till Galicien
We leave Gijón bound for A Coruña, expecting a pleasant sail along Spain's northern coast. Instead, the weather forecast lets us down completely. The promised wind never arrives, leaving us motoring through the long Biscay swell while the miles pass painfully slowly. Eventually, we decide to head into Ribadeo, where a strong crosswind turns our marina entry into the biggest challenge of the day. After a few relaxing days in beautiful Galicia, we even receive an unexpected visit from the Guardia Civil. Not every sailing day is dramatic—but that doesn't mean it goes according to plan.
