🎥 Experience Tourism by Prague Public Transit – historic Ečs metro train + Škoda 706 RTO bus 🚇 Special event organized by Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) Prague Public Transit has prepared another unique event from the “Experience Tourism” series. This time, we visited Kačerov Depot, where we were first introduced to safety rules and daily operations of this important metro facility. After the depot tour, the main highlight followed – a special ride of the legendary historic Ečs metro train on Line C. During the journey, we had a rare opportunity to look inside the driver’s cab, observe real-time operations, and listen to expert commentary from DPP staff. Period uniforms added an authentic historical atmosphere to the experience. The train operated on the section Kačerov – Pražského povstání – Háje and back, followed by a return to the home depot Kačerov. At the end of the event, participants enjoyed a unique moment – a group photo featuring two historical legends: the Ečs metro train and the iconic Škoda 706 RTO bus.
