🎥 Historic 81-71 Metro Train, KT8D5 Tram & Prague Public Transport Museum 🚇🚋 A Unique Journey Through the History of Prague's Public Transport Prague Public Transit Company organized another extraordinary experience tour, bringing together several iconic vehicles of Prague's public transport system in one unforgettable event. Our journey began at Hostivař Depot, where we explored the behind-the-scenes facilities of the Prague Metro, including the small depot that normally remains hidden from the public. We then boarded the legendary 81-71 metro train and traveled along Line A to Hradčanská Station. Throughout the journey, expert commentary revealed fascinating stories about both the history and present-day operation of the Prague Metro. At Hradčanská, another legend was waiting for us — the historic ČKD Tatra KT8D5 tram. Our ride through Prague even included a crossing of the newly opened Dvorecký Bridge, one of the city's newest transport landmarks.
