Y así se obtiene el cobre, el metal inmortal

In this new #uniQoos video, from the ATLANTIC COPPER chemical plant in Huelva, one of Europe's largest copper producers, we'll see, from beginning to end, the process of obtaining copper, the "immortal metal" (in fact, 80% of all the copper extracted in the last 5,000 years is still in use). This process yields precious metals, sulfuric acid, sulfur dioxide, and more. It's an incredible and real-world example of a circular economy taken to its ultimate conclusion. Copper—I'm in love with it!—is not only a component of all our electronic devices but also of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and more. Remember the classic problem of "how many grams of copper are deposited on the cathode in electrolysis"...? After watching this video, you'll know what it's used for in real life... Chemistry is so cool! As always, thanks to #Feique, the Chemistry and Society Forum, and this time to the entire ATLANTIC COPPER team for all the time and love they dedicated to us. #chemistryunitesus #chemistrycaresus #uniQoos If this video helped you and you want unicoos to keep growing, SUBSCRIBE, click "Like," and SHARE it.
