What’s new on the UniProt website: features and improvements for 2026
UniProt is a comprehensive, expert-led, publicly available database of protein sequence, function, and variation information. Join us for an engaging webinar that will guide you through the new and enhanced features and functionalities of the UniProt website. Designed with user experience at the forefront, the website offers seamless access to the comprehensive data provided by the UniProt consortium. This webinar will showcase recent updates to the UniProt website, designed to make it easier to explore protein data and navigate connections between resources. We will begin with new data and annotations in the website, including the Alliance of Genome Resources (AGR) orthology, expanded AlphaFoldDB structure views, and new Post-translational modification (PTM) annotations. We will then cover updates to UniParc and Proteomes, followed by improvements to how UniProt handles inactive entries, ID mapping, and cross-references.
