London's Top Secret Afternoon Tea - Don't Tell Churchill!

Today I'm visiting one of the most unique afternoon teas in London – the Operation Mincemeat Afternoon Tea at Raffles London inside the spectacular OWO (Old War Office). Originally opened in 1906, this historic building served as the headquarters of Britain's military leadership for decades and played a key role in some of the most important events of the 20th century. Today, it has been transformed into one of London's most luxurious hotels. This special afternoon tea takes inspiration from one of the most remarkable wartime operations ever undertaken. Every cake and pastry has been carefully themed around the story, creating an experience that combines history, creativity and classic British afternoon tea. Along the way, I'll be exploring the incredible history of the building, discovering the story behind Operation Mincemeat, and finding out whether this is one of the best afternoon teas in London. With beautifully presented sandwiches, freshly baked scones, themed cakes and an unforgettable setting, this was an afternoon tea experience unlike any other. #AfternoonTea #OperationMincemeat #TheOWO #RafflesLondon #LondonFood #LuxuryTravel #HiddenGem #LondonHotels #BritishHistory
