SOUNDBITE (English) Sadia Dada, march participant: “So I think we have come a long way. The Aurat March (Women’s March) has evolved from being just about women’s rights to making the society better. If you look at the manifesto for this year, it includes not only gender related content but the biggest slogan of this year is around poverty, around equity, equality, and overall human rights. So I think of the voice of women instead of just being vocal around the issues of women we are taking over a lot of issues that are facing humanity today that need to be solved. I think that’s the biggest achievement of Aurat March in its sixth year. The evolution that it itself has seen.” 15. Women chanting slogans with stage in the background 16.
