#hanoi HANOI 1967 ◀️ Filmed on December 13, 1966, at 2:50 PM, the day of the Hanoi bombing, this documentary marks just one day and one place that became symbolic of every day and every place in both North and South Vietnam that was systematically attacked. This documentary captures the lives of the people of the Vietnamese capital and surrounding rural areas during the peak of the American bombing raids. Their daily activities are shown through a series of images: building canals, planting rice, fishing, weaving... life continued despite the American bombing. During these air raids, the people formed armed self-defense units so effective that the nation's life was not interrupted. Video has been censored to remove gruesome scenes and casualties, including children.
