Phim tư liệu màu: HÀ NỘI 1974
Color Documentary: HANOI 1974 Precious documentary footage of Hanoi in 1974, and North Vietnam one year after the destructive war waged by the American imperialists. ◀️ The film takes us back in time, witnessing the transformation of a Vietnam healing the wounds of a long war. We encounter the innocent yet resilient eyes of Hanoi children, growing up amidst efforts to eradicate illiteracy and build a new way of life. Although the ghost of the December 1972 bombing still lingers on the ruined walls of Bach Mai Hospital, the Vietnamese spirit has never been broken. ◀️ Throughout the streets, the hustle and bustle of life returns: factories resound with the noise of machinery, and women confidently take on both domestic and public responsibilities. From the lowland villages with their rustling rice paddies to the high mountains of the North, where old plantations have been transformed into cooperatives, the lives of ethnic minorities are cared for, from kindergards to agricultural schools. Ethnic culture continues to flow steadily, from the tranquility of Buddhist temples to circus performances, bustling parks, and warm family meals. The image of National Assembly Chairman Truong Chinh conversing with a female guerrilla fighter who shot down an American plane, next to the wreckage of a broken B-52, serves as a testament to the nation's strength. Finally, all that pain and pride is encapsulated in the children's song – the sound of life rising powerfully. ◀️ Source: ◀️ A film by David Davis, Deirdre English, Steve Talbot; Editing and narration: David Davis, Deirdre English, Steve Talbot; Music composed by Larry Stein; Vietnamese subtitles and narration: Knowledge Around Us Additional shots: Don Luce; Technical credit; Sincere thanks to: Hoang Tung, Luu Quy Ky, Pham Sau, Nguyen Cung, Nguyen Luong, Nguyen Thanh, Tran Minh Quoc; This film could not have been made without the help of: The Journalists Association of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, The International Journalists Organization and Helmut Brauer, Don Luce, Cora Weiss, Paul Lauter, Tom Hayden, Jane Fonda, Joy Marcus, Susan Martin, Barbara Ehrenreich, John Ehrenreich, Stanhope Gould, Banning Garrett, Jan Austin, Dan Mattson, Bonnie Kozek, Peter Davis, Connie Fields, Vietnamese American Union, Internews, Resist, Indochina Peace Campaign, Indochina Mobile Education Project, Cine Manifest, Agape Foundation; Provided by: Internet Archive ◀️ “This film is dedicated to the Vietnamese people and to the reunification of the country.” ◀️ Click here to subscribe: / channel / @kienthucquanhtayoutube ▶️ Thank you for your support email address: [email protected] **DONATE ADMIN** NGO MINH DUC Vietcombank Account Number: 0141000033844
