Can a society guarantee access to healthy food in the same way it guarantees healthcare or education? This panel discussion on unoconcinco presents and debates the Social Security for Food proposal, a model that aims to guarantee the right to healthy, sustainable, and accessible food for the entire population through public policies, citizen participation, and support for local production. Throughout the conversation, issues such as the economic and environmental viability of the model, agroecology, changes in eating habits, the role of public administrations, and the pilot projects that are already beginning to be developed are addressed.
