Convert Flat Stitch Patterns to In the Round Part 1 // Technique Tuesday

This video demonstrates how to convert written instructions for stitch patterns that are for flat knitting into instructions for in-the-round knitting. It also shows how to convert those instructions into charted form. This video explains the basic concepts for conversion, using two knit/purl stitch patterns: one that is knit over a multiple of 7 stitches, and one that is worked in a 13-stitch panel. How to convert instructions within parentheses is also covered.
