Convert Flat Stitch Patterns to In the Round Part 2// Technique Tuesday

This video demonstrates how to convert written stitch pattern instructions for flat knitting into instructions for knitting in the round. In this video, we tackle stitch patterns calling for a multiple of X stitches PLUS Y stitches (e.g. a multiple of 4 sts plus 1 st; or a multiple of 12 sts plus 7 sts). How to identify which stitches are the extra ones is explained, as well as when you would want to eliminate the extras vs keep them. The original pattern does not work the instep as a symmetrical panel.
